FLASHBACK:

Jade and Dave unearths mix tapes they made back in ye olde days. Sadly for Dave, ye olde days were as recent as 2003 (Mama Lim was fond of the cassette deck in her car). Join in on our hi-brow discussion of music listening experiences and how that has changed with the arrival of iPods and mp3s.

ONLINE:

Jade gives her thoughts on New Twitter. Hold up, powers that be. Whatever you do, don't get rid of the Fail Whale - it's iconic now. Tonight Jade prepares us for the new features as the #newtwitter roll out happens.

Shuffler.fm, Junior Masterchef and Hurts

This week on Diff'rent Strokes...

ONLINE:

Dave checks out the world's first music blog powered web radio, Shuffler.fm. This nifty little site is broken down into music genres, allowing you to shuffle through tracks (and the accompanying blog posts) in each category. It's a great way to get your music blog out there, and for music fans, you're only ever a click away from discovering new choons.

[Insert subtle cross-promo here: Check out Dave's pop music blog, Feed Limmy]

TV:

Jade got sucked into Junior Masterchef. How, we'll never know. This show is essentially two-parts of Jade's least favourite things: petulant children and reality TV. Hear Jade justify her viewing tonight and probably vow to reclaim her cred by watching more Skins.

MUSIC:

Dave reviews the new album by British synthpop duo: Hurts. Check out what all the excitement's about with their "Happiness" album and single, 'Wonderful Life', in our exclusive album in the blend.

(Vintage Diff'rent Strokes: circa SYN 90.7)

AfterEllen blogger Heather Hogan caught up with our dynamic duo to chat about how Diff'rent Strokes came about, their friendship and why Dave won't get into Skins.

So make yourself a hot cocoa, sit back and enjoy Jade and Dave's This Is Your Life moment.
